PHOSPHATE FASTENERS

Phosphate coatings on fasteners improves Corrosion resistance & improves lubricating properties. Phosphating offer low cost coatings against costly XYLAN/TEFLON/PTFE coatings. Aluminum Bolts Fasteners can also be phosphated.

 It acts as conversion coatings in which a dilute solution of phosphoric acid and phosphate salts is applied via spraying or immersion and chemically reacts with the surface of the part being coated to form a layer of insoluble, crystalline phosphates.
